In addition to our line-up of local artists, our gallery is now home to artist Nancy Patrick Carney. Her delightful paintings of puffy birds, dancing girls, and coastal scenes may already be familiar to local art lovers. Nancy creates joyful, imaginative art using paint and paper. Her bright colors, beach scenes, and feminine figures are very recognizable as hers, and simply delightful! She paints and often incorporates hand-painted papers, printed music and words, and even maps, making art that is truly unique and cheerful. Smiles are always the result on viewer’s faces and her paintings are perfect additions to local homes.
Nancy’s tagline is ‘Creating Joy – apply as needed’ which is the perfect phrase to describe her colorful, quirky expressions of life in the lowcountry.
